I am interested to know what manner of man can produce music of such absolute beauty, the crescendos send shivers of delight down my spine, the hairs on the back of my neck tingle with emotion at such lovely sounds. It is high time that this country got itself a formiddable rival to the yanks Sam Barber, and John, you have certainly achieved that.
