I just got the CD of Your “Durham Concerto” and i am very lucky with the music but very , very unhappy with the tone-quality. There is a lot of noise/rumble in the background that is so loud in the pauses and piano/pianissimo passages that I hardly can hear the music. I just recordet my very old vinyl-record of Your “Concert for group and orchestra” from ´69 with a normal hifi-cd-recorder and the quality is much much better than on this new “DDD”-Cd.
The distributer (Mautner Medien, they make the “OKAY”-organ magazin) told me the bad quality would be normal because it is a live-recording, but I cannot imagine that You had given Your okay to such a bad workIs there any comment You can give me or any help what I could do?

You’ve been probably realizing so many times in your life how lucky you’ve been from a ‘keyboard player in rock music’ perspective!

It’s such an indescribable feeling – definitely more than fun & perhaps at times even beyond happiness to rock the Hammond organ/keyboards on a big stage w/ such a great band like ‘Deep Purple’!

Thank you for being one of the founders of the band & such a great inspirational player all these years!

You truly ROCK!
