Kasia Łaska

Kasia Łaska was born in 1980, 110km South of Warsaw, Poland. From an early age she took classical piano lessons, but she wouldn’t stop singing, so after many years of being told to hush, she gave up the piano instead and decided to become a singer.

When she was 16, she moved to Warsaw and made her first professional appearance in the musical Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dream Coat. She went on to perform in the musicals Fame, The Wizard of Oz, Peter Pan, Grease and Chicago, she played Maria in West Side Story, but her favorite role was starring as Kim in Miss Saigon at the Musical Theatre Roma in Warsaw for over three years.

Kasia has also lent her voice to the Polish versions of several animated films: Ariel in The Little Mermaid and Fizz in Tweenies,  as well as singing in Peter Pan, Brother Bear, The Jungle Book and Enchanted to name but a few.

She recently sang lead vocals for Jon Lord in his Concerto For Group and Orchestra in Luxemburg and her home country of Poland.
