Norwegian New Year show
January 10, 2008Jon Lord participated in an invitation-only show at Olavshallen in Trondheim, Norway on January 7.
Together with the Trondheim Soloists and Norwegian artist Espen Lind, Jon Lord performed a handful of pieces.
- Gigue
- The Telemann Experiment
- For Example (eg) – a new Jon Lord piece written in homage to Edward Grieg (EG) and the Trondheim Soloists
- Two songs by Espen Lind, Norwegian piano player and singer songwriter)
- Pie Jesu (Andrew Lloyd Webber’s version)
Gigue and The Telemann Experiment were performed with Espen Lind’s bass player and drummer, and the Trondheim Soloists. Gigue was performed in a shorter version than usual.
