Thank you to all concerned for The Durham Concerto. It brings back so many happy memories of my days there from 64 to 69, in particular singing in the Cathedral with the choral society.

Dear Maestro,
I am a pipe organ concertist and I play in a successfull duo with a “ciaramella” player (the ciaramella is a form of an italian medieval oboe with a fascinating archaic sound).
After we have listened your beautiful “Durham Concerto” (great, moving and extraordinary) we came on the idea to make a version of “Road from Lindisfarne” for pipe organ and ciaramella. We are happy with the result but for us it is now important to know if you approve of our initiative. In wait to receive a sign from you we say thanks to you for many years of the great music.
