  1. I was privileged to be at the concert in Művészetek Palotája where Jon Lord played an absolutely marvelous variety of his own pieces and interpretations of others.

The Orchestra were wonderful and played with enthusiasm and mastery of some very complicated pieces. Tone and rhythm were changing frequently and together with Cry Free and two very good vocalists the whole combination came across as a celebration of the talents that are personified in the character of Jon Lord.

His undoubted love and enthusiasm for his writing and playing shone through added to which were his witty, at times, repartee making it an evening to remember.

Thank you Jon for bringing together classical and rock showing that there are only two types of music: Good or Bad. It wasn’t just good but inspiring.
