WoW!!
I was the first to buy the tickets! It’s the event I’ve been expecting for a lifetime and a half (my father’s and mine). For us Deep Purple was THE Band and “Child in time” THE Song. And, of course, Jon and his magic Hammond – THE Organ Player.
I’ve been to 2 and a half DP concerts (the half was Gillan and his band, in Bucharest, 1992) and my only regret was no “Child in time”. As I’ve seen from the organizers and from the other concerts footage, this time my dream will come true!!!
Respect for all your work and music!
Thank you, Jon!
I am also extremly happy to hear you are coming to Romania for this amazing concert. I am only 21 years old, and i couldn’t make it to the Deep Purple concert in 1999 (i think) when you were still in the band, which i have regreted for many years. I saw a Deep Purple concert a couple of years ago but the songs weren’t the same without your unique solos. As Allen said, me and my father also, who is a huge Deep Purple fan, missed a lot the performance of “Child in Time ” from the Deep Purple concerts, so it’s an amazing gift to be able to see a live performance of Child in Time with you on the organ.
I’m looking forward for the concert and thank you again for coming. All the best!
