Today, Friday March 7 at 3.30pm GMT, singer Steve Balsamo will guest with Wynne Evans on BBC Radio Wales.
The show will play a world exclusive premiere of All Those Years Ago, the unreleased song by Jon and Balsamo, from which Jon Lord’s photo book takes its title, and which will be released together with the book.
On the show, Balsamo will talk about his work with Jon Lord, the upcoming photo book and the concert at Royal Albert Hall celebrating Jon next month.
The song itself is a gentle ballad with Jon on eloquent piano and Balsamo on eminent vocals, recorded in February 2010. Balsamo has confirmed that he will sing the song at Celebrating Jon Lord on April 4.
