Jon Lord takes new album to UK concert stage


This year’s Liverpool Classical Summer Pops will include Jon Lord’s To Notice Such Things and Concerto For Group and Orchestra.

On June 16, Jon Lord will perform his newest work, To Notice Such Things, along with his 1969 landmark Concerto For Group and Orchestra at Liverpool’s Philharmonic Hall with the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by Clark Rundell.

Concert tickets for June 16 have gone on sale and are priced fron £11 – £35.

Jon Lord recorded his new album, To Notice Such Things, with the orchestra last August. The album is released on Avie Records in March. Pre-order now.

  1. Has anything been announced about who the other “group” musicians are for this concert (guitarist, drummer, bassist and vocalist)?

    I’ve looked around, but not found anything.
