With Christmas looming, we’ve bundled six excellent releases featuring Jon Lord into three special offers.
Jon’s groundbreaking Concerto for Group and Orchestra is offered in two very special recordings; The DVD of the legendary 1999 30th anniversary performance at the Royal Albert Hall featuring Deep Purple, Ronnie James Dio, Miller Anderson, Sam Brown and others comes together with Jon’s spellbinding 2012 studio edition – and final recorded work – of Concerto for Group and Orchestra featuring Bruce Dickinson, Joe Bonamassa, Steve Balsamo, Steve Morse, Kasia Laska, Guy Pratt and more on CD with accompanying documentary DVD.
The second bundle includes Jon’s two albums with The Hoochie Coochie Men. Live at Sydney’s intimate The Basement in 2003 featuring Jon’s blistering Hammond work on a set of blues oldies and a Deep Purple tune – and the Hoochie’s 2007 studio album Danger White Men Dancing featuring Ian Gillan and Jimmy Barnes on vocals and accompanying live DVD.
Our third bundled offer is two more recent live albums; Jon Lord Live onstage in Bucharest 2009 with Steve Balsamo and Kasia Laska on vocals with The Rousse Philharmonic Orchestra and group including orchestral performances of Deep Purple songs and favourites from Jon’s solo career – coupled with Jon Lord Blues Project‘s live album of classics featuring Jon on Hammond organ, Miller Anderson on vocals and guitar, Maggie Bell on vocals, Zoot Money on keyboard and vocals, Colin Hodgkinson on bass and vocals, and Pete York on drums.
All titles available directly from Jon Lord’s Webshop. We offer worldwide shipping.
