  1. It may be a new year but every day is a dawn and a new gateway to fresh experiences, love and reaching out to others. Sometimes we may feel alone in what we endure but each one of us has someone very special beside us if we take the time and the love to look. May each new dawn bring radiance that we can share.

  2. Having been a Dp fan from the very beginning and having met you once very briefly at the Fairfield Hall in Croydon back in 1970, I wish you all the very best for 2012.

  4. Jon,
I trust your treatment is progressing and I wish you every success.

Reading your comments and seeing the film of your degree ceremony took me back to teenage years in Leicester and at Wyggeston.
Do you recall borrowing your father’s motor cycle and with Steve and me scraping enough cash to go to the “Black Boy” in Hungarton for a pint of Everards.

  6. Congrays Dr. Lord, revisted Paint it Black on live from Stockholm 1970. What a thrill. Maybe a new lp of instrumental covers with special guest stars? Would love to hear the Dr. interpret some of the great classic rock from the 60’s and 70’s! Best wishes as aleays and may God bless and keep you.

  7. Deep Purple are my pride, my energy, my music. And you, Jon, you’re my idol.
I play the organ and have a Hammond; I know I can never get to your level, but you’re still my point of reference. See you play makes me gaping, your nimble fingers fly on the keyboard, your melodies fill the ears and hearts of indescribable emotions! Thanks Jon!
Be strong, get well soon! Whatever happens, remember you are and you will be immortal because your music is immortal!
Good luck, I wish you the best for the future.

With love, your fan Francesca (from Italy)

  8. Hello Jon,

always remember you as the most essential member of DP. (I am a DP fan for manymany years now…I must be an old Lady meanwhile 😉 )
But I know you are also an excellent solo musician. I love your music ( In your own works, and in the work with DP). Many times I enjoy your work on Sarabande or Gemini Suit or Windows (not the silly Bill Gates thing *lol*). You are one of the few musicians that knows how to combine rock music and classic music…and shows that classic not needs to be stuck, but can develop furtheron.
I would love to see you together with Ian Anderson from Jethro Tull, guess he has a similar intention as you. You both would make a perfect pair. How do you think about that?
Best wishes from Germany and stay tough… many hugs and all the best. It’s getting better! Keep on rocking!

  9. Hello Mr Lord,

    Warm wishes from Turkey.
